12 Spoiler-Ridden Movie Trailers & One Useful Screenwriting Lesson

I came across this article on Twitter and really enjoyed it. It was a nice break from the work I was supposed to be doing. 😊

A few of the movies I’ve already seen (Shutter Island, Cast Away), a couple I’d heard about (Carrie, Chinatown), and others I’ve since put on my watch-list (The Terminator, Funny People).

In fact, I just finished watching the original Terminator for the first time – and the accompanying Cinemasins for added fun!

WARNING: spoilers included. (Duh). But that’s the whole point of the article. It includes trailers and a small summary on where each one goes wrong. It’s amazing how many of them so readily gave away all their major plot points and even the final reveal! A special shame-on-you for Cast Away and The Double. Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think.
